Galileo has been called the "father of observational astronomy",  the "father of modern physics",  the "father of the scientific method",  and the "father of modern science". Galileo Galilei was one of the first modern scientist. He was born in Pisa, Italy, in 1564. at first he studied philosophy, but later he studied mathematics and astronomy. He was interested in the way the earth and the other planets move around the sun. He found our several important dacts about our world. He also started a new way of working in science. Before Galileo, scientist did not do experiment. They just guessed about how something happened.

Social function	Tujuan dari recount text adalah untuk menghibur pembaca, sehingga tidak terdapat konflik dalam text ini. Selain itu, teks ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi pada pembaca.
Text structure	· Orientation  : It is about introduction the participants, place and time. It tells who was involved, what happened, where the events took place, and when it happened. · Events  : Describing series of event that happened in the past. Telling what happened and in what sequence. · Reorientation : It is optional. It consists of closure of events/ending. It is stating personal comment of the writer to the story
Language features	1. Introducing personal participant; I, we, my group, etc. 2. Using chronological connection; then, first, after that, etc. 3. Using linking verb; was, were, saw, heard, etc. 4. Using action verb; buy, go, speak, etc. 5. Using simple past tense
